About

My name is Hunter Longo, and I am a photographer from Chagrin Falls, Ohio. I photograph New York City and the Rust Belt, with a particular interest in creating visual anthologies of these environments that are both brutally detached and intimately humanistic.

I came to photography through elective courses, with my time in New York serving as a catalyst for a more focused approach. Since 2024, I have used the camera, in its simplest sense, as a tool for documentation. Rooted in documentary tradition, my work explores place through concrete observation and conceptual interpretation.

I am currently studying at Wagner College on Staten Island, and I aim to continue expanding my practice in new environments, both on assignment and through personal work.
