Hunter Longo was born in 2004 in northeast Ohio. His photographic interest began at 14, but his work did not come into focus until he moved to New York for college on a track scholarship. In New York, curiosity became conviction. Rooted in documentary tradition yet alive in a contemporary space, his work seeks not only to show what is happening, but to uncover an emotional truth in the viewer and a perceptual truth in himself. Currently, Hunter is continuing his work independently, while looking for opportunities in photojournalism.
